Three very simple steps: Find the directory where XCode locally stores Provisioning Profiles (~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles) Delete all of the files in that folder that have the suffix ".mobileprovision" (Fear not. The profiles can be downloaded again). Try again to create the profile.
